MIXING FACTORY
The Mixing Factory originated from the Compounding Workshop. From the simple equipment left over after the war and the rudimentary manual production technology, to this day the Mixing Factory has become one of the most modern and solid facilities of DRC, with 210 employees and workers.

In 2002, DRC invested in a new Mixing Workshop project with modern technology and equipment systems from Europe: the automatic feeding and loading system from Italy, … This project marked a significant step forward in semi-finished compounding technology. In addition, with the strategy of increasing Bias tire capacity to 600,000 units per year, the Company successively invested in two 270-liter production lines, one for the initial stage and one for the final stage.
By June 2011, DRC commenced construction of the first Radial tire plant in Vietnam with a capacity of 600,000 tires per year, which included the Radial Mixing Workshop. After five years of operation, in 2018, the Company decided to merge the Mixing Workshop of the Radial Tire Plant into the Mixing Factory. With the expanded scale and increased capacity, the Mixing Factory became responsible for supplying semi-finished products for all product lines of the Company.

With its modern, synchronized production lines and advanced technology—such as the 370-liter internal mixer from Kobelco Japan, the advanced feeding system from Mesnac, the pressure molding machine from Kobelco Japan, the automated chemical weighing system, the automatic rubber sheet delivery system for open mills, and chain conveyors transporting chemicals from the weighing system to the mixers—the Mixing Factory has fully met both quality and production requirements to serve the manufacturing units across the entire Company.

MECHANICAL FACTORY
As one of the seven factories under Da Nang Rubber Joint Stock Company, the Mechanical Factory – formerly the Electromechanical Workshop – is responsible for maintaining and stabilizing machinery and equipment to ensure productivity and production quality.

– Timely repair of machinery and equipment to serve production.
– Manufacturing spare parts, molds, and machinery for production.
– Maintenance, repair, and installation of machinery, power equipment, transmission systems, etc., as assigned. Managing warehouses under the factory. Supporting other factories to complete the company’s overall production plan.
– Managing personnel, machinery, equipment, workshops, labor safety, industrial hygiene, fire and explosion prevention, materials, and electromechanical spare parts.
– Receiving orders for processing, manufacturing spare parts, machinery, and equipment, and installing equipment outside the company with the approval of the Deputy General Director in charge.

With a total of 34 highly skilled, professional, and dedicated staff members, the Mechanical Factory has been and continues to make an active contribution to the stability of production activities across all DRC factories.

ENERGY FACTORY
As one of the units under Da Nang Rubber Joint Stock Company (DRC), the Energy Factory – formerly the Power Team under the Mechanical & Electrical Workshop – was established during the period 1994–2000, when the company’s production and business operations achieved high efficiency. The company decided to establish the Energy Factory with the mission of maintaining and operating equipment to provide essential utilities such as electricity, water, compressed air, and cooling systems for production across all factories of the company:
– Operating air compressors and backup generators during power outages.
– Operating pumping stations: superheated water, cooling water, hydraulic water, vacuum systems, etc.
– Operating chillers supplying cold air and chilled water for production at the Radial Tire Factory, Automobile Tire Factory, and Mixing Factory.
– Operating AHU and FCU air-conditioning systems.
– Operating CO₂ ice generators to clean molds at the Automobile Tire Factory, Radial Tire Factory, and other units.
– Performing maintenance, servicing, and repair of equipment within the factory to ensure high reliability, avoiding production interruptions due to equipment failure.
– Managing and implementing measurement activities in compliance with State regulations.
With a total of 37 skilled employees, the Energy Factory has been effectively carrying out the tasks of monitoring, inspecting, controlling, and operating equipment, ensuring no breakdowns and maintaining stability for production activities across all factories within the company.

RADIAL TIRE FACTORY
On May 6, 2011, Da Nang Rubber Joint Stock Company (DRC) began construction of the all-steel radial tire factory with a total investment of nearly VND 3,000 billion. On October 30, 2012, the company’s Board of Directors officially issued the decision to establish the Radial Tire Factory.

After two years of construction, on June 29, 2013, DRC inaugurated the all-steel radial tire factory with a capacity of 600,000 tires per year. This was the first modern all-steel radial tire factory in Vietnam’s automotive tire manufacturing industry.
The factory is a complex of three areas: the mixing workshop, the tire production workshop, and the finished goods warehouse. It was designed to strictly meet international standards for temperature, humidity, lighting, and environmental conditions.
At the same time, DRC invested in the world’s most advanced machinery and equipment: a closed mixing system imported from Japan, a cord creel system from the United States, and a modern steel cord fabric calendaring machine from Italy.

To master the new technology, in addition to inviting experts from Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, and other countries to directly guide and support operations at the factory, DRC also sent teams of staff for training in leading tire manufacturing nations.
Remarkable milestones of the Radial Tire Factory:
– March 25, 2013: The first steel-belt truck tire in Vietnam bearing the DRC brand was produced, marking a historic breakthrough in the development of the company and the national industry.
– September 15, 2020: The first all-steel radial OTR tire 14.00R25 under the DRC brand was manufactured.

– June 10, 2022: Groundbreaking for Phase 3 of the expansion project of the radial truck tire factory, increasing capacity to 1,000,000 tires per year.
– June 23, 2023: Successful production of the all-steel radial OTR tire size 16.00R25.
– December 25, 2023: The first radial tire produced under the investment and expansion project of the radial truck tire factory, raising capacity to 1,000,000 tires per year, was launched.
– February 16, 2024: Successful production of the radial tire 425/85R21 – D961, exported to the Russian market.

AUTOMOBILE TIRE RETREADING FACTORY
The Automobile Tire Retreading Factory – formerly the automobile tire retreading plant, only handled the final stages of the production line, which were retreading and vulcanization. All semi-finished products had to be transported from the South. On January 1, 1995, the company officially established the Automobile Tire Retreading Factory on the basis of separating the retreading division from the Automobile Tire Factory.

Through 48 years accompanying the development journey of Da Nang Rubber Joint Stock Company (DRC), with 47 experienced and highly skilled staff members, the Automobile Tire Retreading Factory has continuously developed and improved toward modernization:
– Receiving and retreading automobile tires according to the company’s requirements
– Processing discarded automobile tires of the company
By September 2016, DRC had put into operation a cold retreading production line with a capacity of 30,000 tires per year. The line was equipped with modern machinery selected from Italy, Brazil, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, and others.
Technical rubber has also become one of the products undergoing strong transformation at the Automobile Tire Retreading Factory by applying modern machinery and technology to serve internal production as well as business in the market, aiming at export targets.

In addition, the Automobile Tire Retreading Factory also produces flaps, suitable for all ranges of automobile tires from small to large special-purpose ones, with a production capacity of up to 400,000 products per year. These have already been exported together with automobile tires to more than 40 countries worldwide.

AUTOMOBILE TIRE FACTORY
Established on September 23, 1993, DRC’s Automobile Tire Factory has accumulated more than 30 years of experience in tire manufacturing. The factory’s production structure consists of the semi-finished products workshop and the curing workshop.

With a team of 255 highly skilled and experienced employees, along with modern production lines and advanced equipment invested synchronously by the company – including a German 3-component extruder, a Russian 4-roll fabric calender, a Taiwanese rubber calender, a Roobock fabric cutter for PCR tires, and a multi-wire bead winding line – the Automobile Tire Factory has successfully increased its production capacity from 20,000 tires per year to 600,000 tires per year.

The factory’s products emphasize versatility with a wide range of types and terrains: light truck tires, heavy truck tires, agricultural tires, construction tires, Dplus motorcycle tubeless tires, and PCR automobile tires, fully meeting the demands of both domestic and international customers.

PCR/LTR TIRE PRODUCTION WORKSHOP
– Organize production according to the plan, ensuring efficiency and quality; fulfill the assigned targets in terms of quantity and product types. Implement additional production plans upon the Company’s request.

– Strictly follow technical procedures for operating machinery and equipment, technological processes, and technical requirements.
– Organize inspection and supervision of compliance with technological processes, technical requirements, and design implementation throughout the workshop’s production activities.
– Coordinate with other units in checking, packaging, and labeling products before warehouse storage. Work with functional departments to handle fluctuations during the production process.
– Manage allocation of materials used during each period and submit allocation data to functional departments as required.
– Compile and report on product quality and production plan implementation to functional departments on a monthly, quarterly, yearly basis, or upon request.
– Manage human resources, machinery, equipment, energy transmission systems, and power units in the workshop; ensure occupational safety, workplace hygiene, fire prevention, materials, raw materials, production norms, and product quality.
– Participate in initiatives, improvements, and scientific-technical projects. Cooperate with partners to proactively implement digital transformation of the unit in line with the Company’s 2021–2025 plan.
– Carry out other tasks as directed or assigned by the Company’s Leadership.

Maintain and continuously improve the quality management system according to ISO 9001:2015 standards and effectively practice 5S.

BICYCLE AND MOTORCYCLE TIRE FACTORY
Originally a workshop under Danang Rubber Factory, the Bicycle and Motorcycle Tire Factory was officially established in 1995.

Built on a large scale, the Bicycle and Motorcycle Tire Factory covers nearly 1 hectare and operates on a modern production line with advanced machinery: 40-inch calender, automatic electronic measuring devices, 3–6 layer hydraulic curing presses powered by high-pressure pumps, inner tube extrusion machines using screw injection molding technology, automatic tube cutting and splicing machines imported from Taiwan, automatic valve-patching perforation lines, and inner tube curing systems using mold technology. These facilities have enabled the factory to increase its production capacity to 20 million tires per year.
In addition, 100% of inner tube and tire products undergo strict inspection at every stage, and only products that meet Grade 1 standards are packaged and stored before being released to the market.

With a team of 288 highly skilled and technically proficient employees, the Bicycle and Motorcycle Tire Factory has launched more than 30 bicycle tire models and nearly 50 motorcycle tire models that meet essential performance standards such as road grip, heat dissipation, and water drainage, fully satisfying the demands of both domestic and international markets.
