On the morning of December 25, Danang Rubber Joint Stock Company (DRC) solemnly held the ceremony celebrating its 50th anniversary, marking half a century of formation, innovation and development (December 25, 1975 – December 25, 2025).
The ceremony was honored to welcome Mr. Ho Ky Minh – Member of the Standing Committee of the Da Nang Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee; Representatives of city departments and agencies; Representatives of the Management Board of the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones; Representatives of the Hai Van Ward People’s Committee.
Representing Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) were Mr. Phung Quang Hiep – Member of the Executive Committee of the Government Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Members’ Council of the Group; Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong – Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union; along with Leaders of departments under the Group.
Also attending to celebrate this historic milestone were former Leaders of the Company through different periods; Representatives of member units within the Vinachem ecosystem; numerous domestic and international partners, distributors, and suppliers; and journalists from central and local media agencies.
On behalf of Danang Rubber Joint Stock Company were Mr. Nguyen Xuan Bac – Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Le Hoang Khanh Nhut – Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, General Director; together with members of the Board of Directors, the Executive Board, the Supervisory Board, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union, the Youth Union and leaders of departments, factories across the Company.
At the ceremony, DRC was honored to receive a congratulatory flag from the Da Nang People’s Committee in recognition of its 50 years of establishment and development (1975-2025), along with a congratulatory banner from Vietnam National Chemical Group.
Within the program framework, delegates visited the Radial Tire Factory, directly witnessing the remarkable transformation of the factory system and modern machinery and equipment – vivid evidence of DRC’s continuous innovation journey over the past half century.
Fifty years is not merely measured by time, but forged by the dedication, intellect and resilience of generations of leaders and employees. From this solid foundation, DRC proudly affirms its position as a leading tire manufacturer in Vietnam and the region, contributing to the growth of Vietnam National Chemical Group and standing as a Da Nang brand closely associated with the city’s development.
On this significant occasion, DRC expressed gratitude and presented commemorative medals to 29 employees with more than 37 years of service, as well as outstanding domestic and international distributors who have accompanied and contributed to shaping DRC as it is today.
Entering a new journey with a Century Aspiration, DRC will continue to uphold its cultural values, promote unity, foster innovation, and move forward with determination – writing the next 50 years with greater strength, resilience and sustainability, for the development of the enterprise and the prosperity of the nation.
