Right after the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, in December 1975, Da Nang Rubber Factory (now Da Nang Rubber Joint Stock Company) was established. At the same time, the Company Trade Union was also founded to lead the workers’ movement.

Immediately after its establishment, the Company operated under many difficulties in all aspects, but generations of officials and employees continuously made great efforts, step by step building and developing the Company to achieve many accomplishments, creating the position and brand it has today.

During the years of the Company’s development, the Trade Union has always organized emulation movements among workers. These movements focused on practical issues, encouraging skilled workers and staff to promote technical innovations, improve production technology, and create many new products with increasingly improved quality to serve society.

Along with organizing emulation movements, the Company Trade Union has always effectively performed its function of taking care of and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of employees.

Propaganda and education among workers have also been a consistent focus of the Trade Union. Every year, communication has concentrated on legal education, regimes, and policies, helping workers understand and implement them well, while also protecting their own rights.

Social welfare has also been a strength in the activities of the Trade Union of Da Nang Rubber Joint Stock Company. Every year, the Trade Union, together with the Company’s leadership, has supported individuals in difficult circumstances inside and outside the Company, assisted localities affected by natural disasters and epidemics nationwide, and taken care of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, policy families, war invalids, and martyrs.

With all these activities throughout nearly five decades, the Trade Union of Da Nang Rubber Joint Stock Company has always been one of the leading grassroots Trade Unions in the workers’ movement and Trade Union activities of the Vietnam National Chemical Industry Trade Union.
