On October 31, 2025, Danang Rubber Joint Stock Company (DRC) solemnly held the 19th Congress of the Company’s Trade Union for the 2025–2030 term.
This important political event aimed to strengthen unity, creativity and the spirit of companionship among DRC employees as the company embarks on a new stage of development.
The Congress was honored to welcome Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam National Union of Industry and Trade Workers, Chairman of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union; and Mr. Ngo Xuan Tung, Member of the Standing Committee, Chief of Office and Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union.
Representing DRC were Mr. Le Hoang Khanh Nhut, Party Secretary and General Director, together with 169 delegates representing nearly 2,000 employees across the company.
During the Congress, delegates reviewed key reports: the performance review of the 18th term (2023–2028); the orientation and tasks for the 19th term (2025–2030) presented by Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong, Chairman of the Company’s Trade Union; and the self-assessment report presented by Mr. Nguyen Van An, Vice Chairman of the Trade Union.

Two presentations from sub-unions were also delivered:
Mr. Doan Quang Tho, Deputy Director of the Radial Tire Plant, presented on “Solutions for saving materials, improving production efficiency, and reducing product costs.”

In the directive speech, Mr. Le Hoang Khanh Nhut, Party Secretary and General Director, commended the results, initiatives and achievements of the DRC Trade Union during the 2023–2025 period. He affirmed that the Trade Union has always been a reliable bridge between the employees and the company’s management, actively accompanying the leadership in all production and business activities.
He also emphasized the need for the Trade Union to continue working closely with management to enhance employee welfare – both materially and spiritually – while promoting responsibility, discipline and creativity among all union members.

Representing the superior union, Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong, Chairman of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union, praised the unity, perseverance and contributions of the DRC Trade Union in maintaining production stability and ensuring employee income. He expressed confidence that the new Executive Committee would continue prioritizing worker welfare, safety and solidarity in the DRC Family.

After a serious and democratic working session, the Congress elected the 19th Executive Committee of the DRC Trade Union for the 2025–2030 term, consisting of 13 members.

At its first meeting, the Executive Committee elected the Standing Board:

The Congress also elected five official and one alternate delegate to attend the 12th Congress of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union awarded Certificates of Merit to DRC’s Trade Union and three individuals for outstanding achievements in production emulation and union activities.

The 19th Congress of the DRC Trade Union took place in an atmosphere of formality, democracy, solidarity and renewal.
The event not only marked the conclusion of a successful term but also opened a new chapter-affirming the commitment of all Trade Union members to continue accompanying company leadership and employees, upholding DRC’s proud tradition of unity, innovation, and sustainable development, toward the goal of building a stronger, more resilient DRC ready to reach new heights.
